Where to find nuts for mounting OMC upper housing to pivot housing?

I'm trying to replace the six 7/16-20 nylon locking flange nuts that secure the upper housing of an OMC Cobra drive to the pivot housing. I believe they're stainless steel.

I can't find replacements. Can anyone confirm the specification for these fasteners and possibly a source to buy them?

Hardware store ones aren't flanged, and while they work, the oem one's are chrome plated brass. If you want oem ones, go to Volvo Penta dealer and order 'em

The nuts in question on my OMC are not flanged. Just "standard" SS nylon locking nuts. But the local hardware store where I bought mine is no longer there, and the big box stores don't carry them that size anymore. I seem to remember thinking I had found some a few years ago, but they turned out to be 7/16x14.

The OEM nuts are NEVER stainless steel. They are always chrome plated brass. Why you may ask, very simple. The SS nuts on SS studs that get taken apart often, have a bad tendency to gall and the nut and stud become one.
