Where to get tilt bolt for 93' Evinrude 30hp?

I need to adjust my manual tilt on my 93' Evinrude 30hp 2 stroke, rope-start outboard...Is the part I need called a tilt bolt??

Where can I order it?

it should have one on it, but if missing, to here, follow prompt to you engine diagram and get part #. it's probably going to be a dealer item.

Thanks for the reply, it appears that the holes for the tilt bolt are different hole sizes? Is this normal?

Actually my service manual calls it an angle adjusting rod...

here's a pic, of the tilt pin on a 90hp, but same principle, the rod should fit in any of these holes. this is the locking end.

The bottom two holes on my tilt are larger in diameter than the two first holes above it. I'm wondering if the person I bought the motor from drilled the holes slightly larger for some reason?? Why would he do that?

he lost the correct bolt, and made it work. just drillout the other 2 if you need them. thats exactly what i was thinking.

Got it, thanks tashasdaddy, I'll pickup a stainless bolt and make it work then
