Which carb is causing the problem?

I have a 1991 Yamaha 70hp and I recently rebuild all 3 carbs as a first time for me. Well being a first timer, it wasnt the best of things. I have gas coming through the exhaust and into the ocean . Plus I have hesitation to top it off. I guess you live and you learn.

Is there a way to pinpoint which of the 3 carbs is the culprit? What causes gas not to burn and out the exhaust?

Pull the plugs, that should tell you which cylinder is running rich !!

also a posibilty that it might not be one of the carbs but a faulty fuel pump with a leaking diaphram leaking back into the engine via where it gets its pulse pressure from!!!

Check your fuel pump aswell if you havent already done that......just a thought:)
