Which Tachometer do I need?

I have been looking on ebay for a tachometer for my 1973, 115 Evinrude. Iin the listings they say the tach's are for 2,3,4,5,6 pole engines or they say for i/o or 12 pole outboards. How many poles do I have?

Your outboard alternator has 12 poles.
