large sailboat nearly rammed me last year while drift fishing in a wide open lake-he did not see my boat until the last few seconds and by the look on his face he was about to crap his pants-kinda boneheaded but unintentional.--
last evening my brother and his family were fishing with me a school of surface feeding bass less than 150ft from the bank. we had several boats including a amphibious tour boat motor right thru the feeding school
My point is some folks has no clue of acceptible behavior or common courtesy.
I was so mad when a trolling bass boat went right thru the surfacing school that I cast a lead jig accross thier bow and fouled thier lines. it was a poor cast as I was aimming at the captain's head...Lost the jig but made me smile. I realize it was stupid but hey, I'm stupid.
like wise if you run by or are skiing,jetskiing in casting distance your too close!-so look out!
