Tea!<br />Takes just a few minutes and I can brew for as many as I like.<br />If you don't believe me then I'll scan a picture of the biggest tea urn I ever used. It was a 44 gal drum. They made the tea for the entire crew of a coal mine in that thing every 4hrs or so! We drank it all too.<br />Ross

Here it's whoever gets up first, myself most of the time. But that only aplies to weekends as we both work and brew the first pot where we work! I like mine better, she doesn't use enuf (enough) grounds!<br />Richard

hey ebb, I was a over the road truck driver for 22 years and my body got in a habit of laying down for 3 or 4 hours and then being wide awake.<br /><br />It has never got out of it and so when I lay down, 3 or 4 hours later I am wide awake, and I cannot just lay there, I have to get up. <br /><br />I sometimes get to bed after all the paperwork is done for the day, around 10:30 or so, so around 2:30 or so I am wide awake. <br /><br />The misses says she could set her clock by me. <br /><br />P.S. I also use the Bunn. Man what a pot. Instant coffee.

I let my wife do it a couple of times until I found out she was using the same grounds for two or three days..She figured it would save on money and since she doesn't do caffene who cares..Approach is different when she brews her decaf tea....

Considering I roast my own beans (only way to get fresh coffee), and the wife can't manage my espresso machine... she makes drip on the weekends (nasty stale beans), and I drink quad-espresso's during the week.<br /><br />One of these days I'll make a bigger roaster and be able to roast for both....

My bride, when we first married 14 yrs ago, I told her that the coffee was the best. She ain't quit making it yet.

I make the coffee at home. It's kinda funny we can use the same coffee and the same water and my coffee will come out tasting better. And the Admiral will admit it.

We drink a lot of coffee around here and the pot is always on from sep-may mornings only other three monts. First one up makesw the coffee and whoever gets last cup after that. As much coffee as we drink I should just breakdown and buy a Bunn. Even my 2&half yearold drinks moms coffee, She uses that Intrnational Delight creamer-Yuck!

Yes. she is right. I brews.. Carol makes TERRIBLE coffee, and I make great coffee. She makes the bisquits, i make the gravy.."To each, his gift, and unto his gift, praise".<br /><br />(or something like that)

hehe 12'r - and thanx for the thoughts <br /><br />i'm still worried - er, uh sbn - yes, i understand those 4hr increments. i worked 3 yrs of 3jobs and its never left my body. but the point is, are you just getting 4hrs now? if so, then you gotta get a new plan, my man. i don't, never have preached - i don't remember it anyhow.<br /><br />but you are... heading for a bodily reaction- not the good kind be good to yourself. better than that anyway

I get up earlier, so I brew. Coffee till noon, Iced tea, no sugar, or diet coke after that. Gotta love all that caffiene. I would quit, but then I would be a canidate for a stroke - sudden withrawal of caffiene will do that - and no one wants me to have a stroke, do they? So bring on the caffiene!
