Who remembered the star of the Dead End Kids.. My grandmother grew up down the street with him. She also was choosen to be in the Little Rascals, but when shooting she was camera shy and the lines just wouldn't come out of her month.. They picked another cutie as a fill in.. <br />When Leo retired to the Tehema Area he remarried a young, young girl.. My grandmother knew Leo's mom and she lived in town here. I was just a little thing, but remember his mother.. and Leo as an old man of course.. They would buy wine jugs from Al Busta and the party was on... They would hit all the bars singing dancing and having a great old time. My grandma could still play the gazoo, sing and kick-up her heels at 58, and Leo would tell jokes and do his thing.. He wrote a book and signed it for Grandma.. The book is buried someplace in storage.. Poor Leo passed on sometime ago, but we still see his wife, she drives by every so often and waves.. Oh, ya she just loves the goose Link.. I still can picture my grandma singing and dancing up a storm with the guys.. After she passed on that is how we landed here in Tehema County.. It's funny that my grandma knew alot of people and kids.. She would redress dolls and give them out to kids who may not have as much.. Every once in awhile I run into people that say, That was your grandma and Leo.. Who would know..
