Who to send my Stainless prop to for minor repair and a repitch?

Hi all,
I have a 17pitch 3-blade PowerTech! prop satin finish on my 1989 125hp force. I want to gain a few more rpms from it like 200+ ish. So I figured I could send it off and have it repitched to a 16pitch and have the blade edges re-finished since they show a little minor wear. Where would be a good reputable place that is not going to destroy my prop and do a good job? This is a discontinued prop for Force that was made by powerTech years ago so I want to send it to a reputable place. ANY thoughts?

Thanks
Red

Where do you live? United States? Assuming yes, there are MANY local prop shops just about everywhere....every local marina knows a good local prop guy...

It's generally cheaper to go local than to pay 2 way shipping, plus risk of loss. I know a GREAT and reputable prop shop in Indianapolis named Marks Props LLC...I can get you his phone # or you can google it if that benefits you. One man operation, no website. He probably would be happy to do a mail-order repair if you can't find someone local to do yours...

Hi. I'm in Dallas and there is a great shop here in Lewisville, TX called McGill Propeller. You can Google it for info. Very reputable. But, with all the lake boating in AR, you have to have a local machine shop that reconditions props. Good Luck.
