This CL ad speaks volumes. There is just so much wrong going on here I wouldn't know where to start:
PRETY FAST BOW RIDER $750
If memory serves me,, this is an 83 i belive open bow cierra 18.5 ft boat. I have the title its just not with me as i post this add. It has a Johnson 225HP V6 outbard. Only rated for a 165 so its not exactly leagal. However the boat wears the engine like a champ,, doesnt sit too low in the water. It has a jack plate on it with 12 inches of jack and 12 of set back,, i modified it to have a lil more jack as its a tall shank motor on a short shank boat.. Boat has been 72MPH by a hand held GPS with a 25 pitch prop. That prop got messed up it now has a 20 on it now i think,,, MPH down to like 59 or 60. When this thing is trimed up theres nothin in the water but the lower unit.. Has alot of torque.. we used it 2 seasons to pull the tubes and whatnot. Lots off fun. Interior is shot and needs to be redone. Has a 2 or 3 year old waterproof cd player and 4 speakers..eagle depth finder. I belive thats bout it. Trailer in bad shape,, im not sure i would trust it to go far. Best bet is to pick this up on a car trailer. I just dont have much use for it anymore and to the right person this would be a great toy.*** to clarify myself, i would use the car trailer to pull the boattrailer and the boat up on. Ive done this before and it worked just fine, rolled the trailer and boat up onto the car trailer and strapped it all down.
