Not a chance. The fall bite is just about getting ready to start on the lakes around these parts. Hoping to get some musky action in the next few weeks. I guess I am hard core but I will be out there motoring around the fishin hole till the snow starts to fly.

Will just move it in the garage out of the winter weather but will still use it throughout on nice days.

I don't do much fishing, and still borrowing tow vehicles... so until the van is done, trips must be planned in advance.

I'll be fishn til h..l freezes over I mean the water...When water temps reaches mid fiftys the warrior comes on strong in the shallows..so I'll be fishing until al least Nov. depending on ice conditions. I have been known to fish in Dec. in the Cumberlands for stripers...

I got the 17 foot fishing boat all scrubbed up and winterized and put away. pontoon still in the water and probably will be till sometime in november. i love to fish pike and like gonfishings warriors they start the feed when that water hits the mid 50's. caught some of my nicest pike in late october early november.

Winterize? It's only a couple of weeks into Fall. What are you talkin about Willis? :D

My slip is paid up to Oct 15th, then it comes out. Winterize it the same day and pressure wash the gunk off to.

Re: WHO'S GOT BOAT ALL WINTERIZED

Because of our mild climate and the good fishing the only thing that gets winterized around here is the Lawn Mower and thats by choice :) Well ok there are tons of boats winterized around here every year but they are the skiers, tubers, etc that don't need to be on the lakes anyway :D :D :D :D
Just got some junk mail today... $350.00 to winterize a boat!!! WOW!

Re: WHO'S GOT BOAT ALL WINTERIZED

I usually wait till the leaves are down. Went out this sunday and did well on the lake. Nice no jet skis so I can leave the shotgun at home (Kind of kidding). Suppose to get in the 80s this week. This is the best time of the year to fish in minnesota. Should be safe till at least the first part of november.

Re: WHO'S GOT BOAT ALL WINTERIZED

Took mine out of the water in mid September, used it a few times, and as of this last weekend, it is now winterized and in the garage. Depressing considering the weather has stayed in the low 80s until today, but they drop my lake and I barely have any water to my dock now, and the ramps are barely useable now. Labor day weekend typically signals the end of boating here. All the snowbirds and summer people head south, and overnight there are only a few fishing rigs on the water, no pleasureboats to speak of. The guy across the inlet from me decided to skp that whole "take the boat out of the water" thing and now it is sitting in mud. Oh well...
