I'm a fan of Mystery Marvel Oil myself. Makes great 2-stroke after run oil. I also use it for air tools.

...but my favorite petroleum product of all... Sea Foam!

Just to be clear, chemical interaction occurs between all molecules, whether or not they are actively participating in a chemical reaction.

It's how geckos can walk across the wall and ceiling. Van der Waals forces between the structures on the gecko's feet and the molecules in the wall keeps the gecko attached.

So the "marketing department" statement may not necessarily be entirely false, but the term "bond" probably isn't appropriate.
