Will this factory service manual work?

Hello all. Long time lurker, first time poster. Anyway, can someone tell me if a factory service manual for 1979 80hp-150hp inlines would work for my 1983 115hp inline 6? I want to check the timing and I have a Seloc, but it's not detailed enough. Thanks.

The factory manual for the '79 and '83 115hp motors were both per p/n 90-86134--4 which covers the 1979 through 1987 models.
