Windsheild repacement

I need some ideas on securing a replacement windsheild on a 94 Smokercraft Pro Mag 165. The present windsheild is cracked and I want to replace it. The current one looks like a replacement the previous owner purcharsed from Cabella's or other Outfitter. Windsheild is attached to the console with 3 small fittings which come up through the top of the console and attach to the windshied with small bolts and nuts. The arrangment allows the windsheild to rock back and forth and I think this had contributed to the cracking. Anyone have any suggestions on how to firmly secure the new windsheild to the console. I'm open to all ideas.
