You guys could come over here and "fancy" watching fireworks next weekend when we celebrate the fact that we don't have the Queen's mug on our money . . . :p

Agreed ... will be out on the water Saturday night, maybe Sunday night, and Monday night ... I think there are fireworks all three nights! Just hope the weather co-operates. Youngest hasn't been on the water for fireworks, so I am sure she will fancy them!

Aww, she's not a bad old stick you know. And her family are good for constant entertainment in the press! :D

Her "mug" unofficially featured on several of the aircraft in the RAF... On 45 Squadron, our engineers had a stencil made from a postage stamp style headshot with the caption... "Aunty Betty's Airways"! They used to spray it in the wheel wells of our Tornado GR1s.

Anyway, have a safe and enjoyable 4th July y'all, as it's on a Sunday, we'll crack a beer or two to help out!!!

Yeah, Phil... I was lucky enough to fly Hawks, Hunters, Lightnings, Buccaneers and Tornadoes. 1977 -1991. Good fun but marriage and kids are not compatible with flying fast jets so I retired. Still, even though it's a long time, I miss the excitement, although spending an afternoon in the middle of winter basking in the sun off Tangalooma makes up for any amount of zapping around at 600kts! :D

Mark, I just noticed the rodeo in your signature, I just purchased the very same (LT crewcab).

Nice one Aldo! If you haven't already done so, fit LPG, it halves the fuel bill!

Our one now has 130K on her (she's an '02) and is like new still despite lugging the TABS all over the place. :D

'04 3.5L with vapour injected LPG. An old farmer owned it and never used it, it has 35,000K (22,000 mls) on the clock.

I agree with your comments on LPG. The dyno tells me that the LPG gives me a handful of extra ponies.

Wow... great find! If the gearing's like mine, you could tow the houseboat with it! LOL. :D
