I have the type of toilet that has a small tank that holds the deodorizing fluid, the stinky blue stuff that gets pumped into the bowl before/after use. Anyone know if that stuff will freeze or can I leave it in the tank over the winter. If it will freeze, I can pump into the waste tank and remove at the clean out, but if its likely to not freeze, will save it for next year.

Re: Winterizing head

I pour about a gallon of propylene glycol (pink Marine/RV antifreeze) into the head and pump it into the holding tank. I then open teh seacock to the head once the boat is out of the water. It has worked fine for me for years. I've never had any issues.
