I have read all the Stickies on this subject I can find but I do have one question.
I would have posted this question under the many threads already created on the winterization subject but they all appear to be CLOSED.
Is it ok to do the draining and antifreeze portion of the process First then remove the outdrive to check seals, replace worn bearings and belllows etc Second?
I know I have to replace something in the outdrive this winter (vibration) but may not have enough time to do the work and reassemble before the cold weather sets in.
Thanks
