wireing for tac

I had a 1988 Yamaha 175 that blew earlier in the season.
I have bought a used 1994 Yamaha 150, the wire harness is different and I have a Clymer for both.

the 88 shows that the Yellow & Yellow and Red wires go to the TAC, But the 94 Clymer shows nothing about a tac or the wires that go to them??

I have all hooked up and the motor runs good, but I need the TAC.

Does anyone know what wire's to hook the 88 tac to in the 94 motor??

Thanks!

Re: wireing for tac

Green is signal lead. Same for both year model motors. It is normally in the harness at the control box. Yellow is hot with the switch and red is hot all the time. Black is ground.

Re: wireing for tac

Thanks, I will try the green.

But there are many wires coming from the old tac, for Trim, oil, and the tac it self.

What wire would the green feed wire on the motor hook to on the tac side??

Thanks again!
