Wiring 2000 evinrude 4stroke

Putting new wiring harness in pontoon, the new harness came with 9pin plug for helm but old harness also had a 3pin plug for helm and a 9pin plug, the 3pin plug has a black blue and pink wire, pink wire comes from fuel gauge goes to fuel tank and black is ground the blue comes from tach but other end was plugged into running light switch? Is the blue wire just power for light on gauge?

Was wiring for the motor?----What motor was taken off?

Yea it’s original 2000 odyssey pontoon with 2000 evinrude 4stroke 50 hp I think the 3pin plug is pink fuel black ground and blue is light for gauges
