Im going to be checking out this Startcraft in the next couple days.their asking 500 for it and its a 16 foot.I think its a Jet Star though Im not sure.It says file is to large to load the pic and Im honestly not sure how to downsize it.sorry guys I will work on trying to get it downsized.

Good luck, It's good to have another one near Seattle. Several photo programs will compress the pic for you. Photoshop, Microsoft, Picassa, I think photobucket will, but I haven't figured that one out yet. It's the one a lot of the guys use here I think. My wife bought Microsoft office, and the picture manager in it is real easy to use. Send a pic when you figure it out, some of the guys get sort of testy when you don't send pics. I don't think the mob has been out in a few months, but they're still around.

In photobucket, in the tools option you can pre size all pics as they upload.
The preferred size is 640x480...I think.
Works for me.

Is there a Craigslist ad or other Internet ad you can share the link here as well.

thats the way it is here for prices as well.so im trying to jump on it before its sold to someone else.im going down tomorrow to look at it since i have mondays off.

West coast is real spendy for boats. I'm not too far away, just north east of Spokane. I've got a lot of ex inlaws over there, Marysville and Lynnwood, and a great nephew in Des Moines. I've never been there I don't think. I still say see if she's take $400, the worst she can do is say no, then you can offer more.

does anyone know what the size of the ball I will need to tow it home with would most likely be? I asked the lady with the boat and she said she thought it was a 2in ball.Just wondering if that sounds right to you guys.

Hey Brenn welcome. If this is the boat in the little picture? It sure looks like an early SS, by the winshield and it's placement. The trailer ball could be either 2 inch or 1 7/8 grab one of those cheap hitchs that has all three ball sizes on it, then there are no worries.

It could be a 2 5/16, but those are usually used on larger trailers. 1 7/8 isn't used much anymore out here, but a few old trailers still have it. As DozerII says, they are'nt very expensive, get one of each and bring a couple wrenches, one pip, and one to fit the nut under the ball, they are easy to change either on a stinger, or a bumper. 2 is most common I think tho.

i got a boat of the same size a few months ago, and went to get it and it had a 1 7/8 ball , setup. Passed a farm store on the way thinking I should get one of those 3 way bars, but didnt. Found a ball in that town and towed it home.
