-6* here right now. lots of snow. can you please send the warmth this way when you get some? 2nd december in a row where it has been extremely cold and snowy. guess it just comes in cycles. would like to be at the normal temps and snowfall though. so send up the warmth or we will send down the cooling!! (one shovel full at a time)

We live up the coast from you Puddle and we have only had a light skiff of snow (so far), but it's been cold with strong NE winds. BRRR!

My step Mom was supposed to fly up from Victoria today but she got stuck at the Vancouver airport due to weather. Hopefully tomorrow.

Where did you move to B.C. from?

Merry Christmas to you & yours!

We moved from Williams Lake BC and my son is flying up tomorrow. We have to pick him up in Campbell River. Hope for no layovers.

We have a couple of inches but boy did the wind blow last night And about -10C with a wind chill of about -20C.

Hope all goes well with you moms flight.

Mike i was just thinking. Between you and me we live were the storms come to die. The other day the weather changed so fast that my Gallayo barometer blew out most of its fluid and i have to refill it to make it work again.

Re: Wishing for a White Christmas- NOT

Ahhhhh,
Port McNeil..
Memories of BC.

Lived there for 8 years and came home to Ontario for a visit in '80.
One thing led to another, got married (And stuck!) and now I pine for the seas and mountains I remember so fondly.
Port Hardy, Port Alice, Jeune Landing, Mahatta River, Coal harbor when the whaling station was still there etc. etc.
Sigh.....!
Snow only used to come to scare everyone and then slowly melt into a memory, AND the water never froze.
Had my fishing boats there, and the time of my life, risking passes at the narrows to the north West (From Quatsino Sound) with 3-4 foot rip tides and some scary but exhillarating rides.
Yep, Miss that for sure.
So I ply the waters here in Northern Ontario, to get closer to those memories, but never able to quite reach that old salty flavour!:(

My Stepmom is stuck in Vancouver another day! She's going to try again tomorrow, if she can't make it she's going back to Victoria. :(

I hope your Son made it OK Puddle
