I don't really have any expertise to comment on the adhesive options (sounds like you have sources that do have that expertise), but I would be leery about expecting anything to seal out moisture from the inside if it is permeating through from underneath, and that almost always (in my experience) ends up being problematic. My suggestion was just a quick and effective check to rule that out.
I am not anticpating any problem. I have good drainage around my slab and I have a vapor barrier underneath it. I know a lot about the house since I built it(acted as the general contractor).

I will be posting more pictures soon. What is the best thing to have for weekly cleanup for these floors?

Nor sure about the "best", but we have had ecellent results with a product called "Mirage Concentrated wood floor cleaner". You dilute it 4:1 and go.
Has kept our oak floors in great shape.

What do you use a for a mop/duster?

I have been looking at the Bona Hardwwod Spray Mop.

Just a generic No name mop/duster from Loblaws (Canadian large grocery chain)...nothing special.
