so we had a tenant come home while we were trying to fix her dishwasher brand new mind you ,as a rule we are getting renovations done so had to call them so it took a few days anyhow lady says its not fixed yet this is rediculous i pay to much money blahblah blah i want compensation !!!Dont someone inspect these before i move in ?
yes mam sorry were all human it was a mistake were trying to get it fixed !!!! while she ran in the back bedroom to eat her bojangles hahahah !!! normally wed have it fixed but we are paying plumbers to do the work so we called eem back to fix it cuz it was unfortunatley happening a lot !!! WOW ARE PEOPLE THAT MISERABLE ????

Yes. some are, and some others are professional victims. Others, however, have legitimate gripes and speak up for themselves.

Don't know about your tenant. I tried being a landlord and didn't like it a bit, so I became a mortgage holder. That is lot better.

she wanted compensation? i would have went out and picked her up a bottle of dish soap and pointed at the kitchen sink! a dishwasher aint a furnace and you can get by without one for a few days!

I worked in the apartment industry for a few years ... hang on, I'm thinkin' ... Nope. There wasn't anything that I really liked about it.

lol i dont mind the work and fixing stuff for people , but be HAPPY HAPPY !!! dont wlk in the door and start yelling at me while im trying to fix ur dw YIKESSSSS ....

Y I GET THOSE TOO !! hoepfully not to much longer wen my wife gets her promotion "its happening being processed " idk what ill do but do not and will not take a on call job esp... in summer man it sucks wen ur out on the lake and u get a call !!! BUT I REFUSE TO STAY HOME N WAIT FOR A CALL HAHAHA

My dad owns some duplexes and as tenants move out he's removing all the garbage disposals for that very reason. He'd take out the dishwashers too but that make them too hard to rent.

.... I'll "one-up" ya: 2 of the properties I worked on were collegiate housing (individual leases in multi-bedroom apartments). 750 college students in an apartment complex. It wasn't that they blew a lightbulb on a Saturday night ... it was that they blew a wall out on Saturday night

I found cat poo in the freg of a tenants unit after they vacated without notice.... well I knew they were going to vacate...got the student loan, and bought a brand new car and a big-screen...at that point I knew they wouldn't be staying long. Asked if a cat was acceptable, sure...she went out and and bought 3kittens. :facepalm:

Needless to say she was moved out within a week...couldn't pay her rent... but not before leaving me some pleasant surprises!

I could tell horror stories for days!

I had a girl that stuck me for almost $3000 in rent till I could get her evicted. When she left the day before the eviction, she took the washing machine, busted doors and cabinets, totally wrecked the place to the tune of almost $8,000 in damages (with me fixing it myself). The worst was the refrig. She turned it off about week early with it stuffed full! There was so much growing in it I had to pry the door open, which ruined the seal. Much easier to replace the refrig then try to clean it up ... worst tenant I ever had. ALL others have been decent.

Okay let me throw a different point of interpretation out there........ Here is a person (Tenant) who works at something (some type of job) and has to put up with keeping their mouth shut all day ......maybe they hate their supervisor, customers or maybe they are the supervisor and everyone hates them........... regardless. It is obvious that the only way to be happy is to "attempt" to exercise some authority to build up the lack of self esteem.

Let them have their little rant and let it roll off your shoulders.

Yup, it is becoming a common act that people "DUMP" on others when the opportunity arises.

Nope. I don't think so, they just want what they pay for. Me personally, I have patience with issues like this but understand why someone would be irritated. The dishwasher being brand new has no bearing on the situation at all.

Nope. I don't think so, they just want what they pay for. Me personally, I have patience with issues like this but understand why someone would be irritated. The dishwasher being brand new has no bearing on the situation at all.

y well we got it fixed the plumbers put too much glue on the shut offs when they replalced em n glued the water hole shut ..., it was a glue on compression so i drilled the glue out and bammmm water ...of course i had to do it just to get it done wich i dont mind things happen but come on !!!

y like i said i can see y whe was mad but its not my fault !!! Thats what u get when u use a low balling new reno company ..weve had all kinds of problems and after hours calls cuz of these guys ,well see whats next !!

wow we usually just have people leave n leave all there stuff behind and leave the place a mess not that bad though lol !!! we did have the power cut off in a unit and food in fridge spoiled but wasnt that bad just smelly hahah....
