Re: World as viewed by an American

I have often wondered what those other people are doing on the USA's planet, anyway.:)

That's funny. And all this time I thought I was the only one thinking that.

I've visited some of those other places......you are dead on as to what they think...that we think....about ourselves. I am proud to be an American, but I also keep that pride to myself when traveling abroad.

This is funny:D.....and somewhat true. Just ask the rest of the world what we think of ourselves.

America should buy the Laundry & the Uninhabited zones.

Let's throw in some of those cruise ship states too! I wouldn't mind some of those coffee states. Heck, wouldn't mind a zoo either. But ya' know what would happen?.....Uh....Nevermind.

The problem with all those other places in the world is that there are too many foreigners there.

I take great offence to this....

Just because you have two stories and a covered place to keep your dogs.....doesn't mean the the rest of us saps that can only build a dome rancher igloo are any better or worse than you.
The snow in this area is just diffferent than the snow in the areas around the great lakes! It isn't as sticky, so structurally it wont do two stories....

Im totally sick of you Ojibwianns bragging about your two story 'gloos

my sled dogs are just fine thanks....they like it in the wind.
As for the sled it self. i have the Nanook of the North 3000 series......with solar powered heated handle bars.

Take that braggart.

By the way.......Hows the hockey team? Ours made it to the finals last year?:p

They cant afford it and the last time they tryed to take it by force they lost.

Don't take offence oops.
Here's what you do. Join an igloo forum, cut your dome rancher down the middle, add, say about 4 feet to the middle and then tell everybody how to do it. You'll be the envy of everyone the world over, well, those north of the forty nineth parallel anyway.
As to your Nanook of the North 3000, I had one. Skis kept rusting because of all the damp cold weather.
And as far as our hockey team goes, the Leafs are in first place. Bet ya haven't seen the words Leafs and first place in the same sentence since the mid sixties. HA!

Re: World as viewed by an American

Why are we getting so many posts from people in the "Unihabited" area? This thread is about "America"...not uninhabited areas! :)
