World series

Well we sure got creamed last nite, but tonite we'll beat the socks off those guys. My St Louis Cards ., didn't do a darn thing too bad but we didn't put enough Vasoline in our gloves as some pichers did. . Millions of bucks come with the series , which all cities can use. Our young pitcher will give it a go tonight:mad-new:

Not even the Cardinal organization is making that accusation.

You realize it was a guy in the Cardinal's minor league that started the story right? Umpires were checking the ball all night long.

Only a bunch of errors and they didn't hit!

If Beltran doesn't play, Sox in 5. Just as Ramirez's cracked rib killed the Dodger's chances, Beltran's will do the same to theirs.

I really don't care who wins. If there was a team in there that hadn't been there in awhile, I might.

Totally unwarranted and unsubstantiated rumours (AKA whining) aside, as an unbiased observer, it sure looked to me like it was the Cardinals fielders who had the Vaseline in their gloves, not the Red Sox pitchers.

They're both excellent clubs. This could be a classic series.

My all-time favorites were 1975 (Boston - Cincinnati) and 2011 (Texas - St. Louis). Love baseball, just love it...!
