Worlds Biggest Fish

The worlds biggest fish currently living is the whale shark!!! This fish grows to 50 feet in length, can weigh 16 tons(32,000pounds). Even tho it has a mouth 5 foot wide, the critter feeds only on plankton!!! And even tho it is called a whale shark it is a fish, not a whale, which is a mammal and breaths air thru it's lungs!!! It is a member of the shark family, meaning it has a skeleton made up of cartilege, not bone!!!! other then it's claim to fame as the largest of fish, a good fact of trivia, it has no value to humans!!!!

I think Flyrod must work part time for PBS or Discovery channel.

Nope!! Just read a lot of fishing articles trying to be a better fisherman and at the same time an article appears every now and then from a naturalist or biologist!!!
