I can't tell you anything about your motors but the place in Minnesota is www.tcoutboard.com. I got that off of this site from JB (thanks again). I hope this helps. MJ

Re: worth anything????

The Johnson's take 24:1 mix of 87 octance gas to TCW-3 2 stroke oil, points gap .020", Champion J6C spark plugs gapped to .030". No idea about the Firestone.

I just spray a healthy dose of penetrating oil in the cylinders as I turn the flywheel by a half dozen times. If its been sitting a long time, I'll also spray some into the throat of the carb to get the crankcase lubed too.

Also, those motors may not be worth much monetarily, but they are worth their weight in gold for the feeling you get when you run them.

Re: worth anything????

Please don't junk them. I only wish I lived closer to you. I'd love that Evinrude 3 hp.

Post a free ad on the Antique Outboard Club website. You will have a dozen eager takers in a day I bet.
