that was exactly my time frame too. funny.
wish i'd have been on iboats yesterday. i missed my fix....
but alas, i've been trying hard to keep my biz afloat in hard times. one of them things to do is year end inventory... yeck.... but i counted it all yesterday, yeah (it usually takes me two days to count it). missed my fix, but figure if i don't keep the biz afloat, i won't be coming here at all as i won't be able to afford a boat.... sure hope i keep the biz afloat.... Happy New Years folks...

Was in bed at 1:30 am and up at 7 am. I slept in a little longer than usual this morning. Only kid living at home spent the night with Grandma ... so we brought the new year in right ... had to get out of bed when College Game Day came on. ;) Now for the Big Ten to have a big day and all will be good!

Heck I think I might of fell asleep with the TV on, I'm not for sure though. I couldn't even tell you what time I went to bed, I think it was before 12am Central time. After 4 small glasses of spiked Evin Williams egg nog, and 1 and a half tall boys (sense one busted open), I was feeling pretty good, not drunk but felt no pain which was good sense I threw my back out the other day. I did get to watch the ball drop for eastern time though. Sorta of messed up, I would rather watch **** Clark (bless his soul), I'd rather watch him bring in the new years for the eastern time then watch central time new years.

My son and I were invited over to my extremely cute neighbors place(neighbors for 4 years) and we've been gettin to know each other in the last 3-4 months....some of her friends and daughter were there, had a blast, lots of Filipino and other food.......was very nice, nice peaceful buzz, no hangover here, and we got home about 0100 and made homemade fruit smoothies finally to bed by 0130 and up by 0800..and I'll be seeing her again...we get along great :>)

Good luck with that Heinz :)

Well my little lady is in Chicago at my Mom's, they went to Wicked . . . I stayed home alone. Well kinda . . .

Cooked dinner for the two boys that are here, made Tonkatsu for the first time and it came out great. Had some Sake with the oldest. Played some guitar with his friends, and then the 13 YO and I walked over to a small neighborhood party. I played pool, had some kamikaze shots and beer, champagne at midnight  A twinge more than a "nice peaceful buzz". I fell asleep in front of this stupid thing at around 1:30; my last post @ 1:15 is all I've got for reference  Woke up right here at 3:50 and then went to bed. Slept until 8. No hangover, but I remember struggling some with the keyboard . . .

Re: Wow New years eve

We had both sides of our family over. Food, dancing, video games, more food. No drinking. My SIL left around 12:30 and was promptly stopped by the NJ state troopers less than two miles from our house. They checked her out, and let her go. Boy she was glad it was a dry new years eve!!!!

Because everyone has about an hour drive to get here, a few years ago we started cutting back on the booze, and then stopped all together. With the kids around and all, we don't even miss it.

Happy New Year!

Re: Wow New years eve

Just woke up.......but not from last night!! Misses and I made it to a little gathering, watched the ball drop then headed home. Had the alarms set for 5:15 for an early mornin trip to the grouper holes. SCW got listed just as we launched. Realized the seas this morning were no match for a 20'er so we headed back in. The 20-30 knot easterly wind had blown the channel almost dry and we really struggled to make it back to the ramp. Thanks to another boater with a really shallow draft! Made it to the local Cracker Barrel for breakfast for the five of us, that seemed to salvage a little of the morning. Cleaned the boat and layed down....will try again in a few more days after the front makes it way thru..

I went to bed around 3 a.m. We went to the neighbors house and played Wii all night. I got up around 8, but my head was hurting really bad, so I went back to bed until 10:30..... and I still feel like crap.. :(

Spent the last few hours of 2008 and the first 1 of 2009 with family and good friends at our church. Watched the movie Fireproof,(awesome!) ate lots of good food, and prayed in the New Year! Sure beats the drunken foolishness that used to be our 'normal' celebration a few years ago!

Aint that the truth. I was up at 8:00am (about 3 hours later than my usual time) and everyone was still sleeping. Had some time to myself to have coffee and enjoy the early morning outside, even though its only about 15*.

Went to a small party/family gathering (not my family). Showed up drinking coffee. Checked out buddy's new AK-47. Drank 2 beers and 1/2 glass of champagne between 8:30 and midnight. Watched the kids shoot fireworks (supervised). Shot some pool and a few games of darts. Watched Kung Fu Panda on buddy's new 67" projection TV (really nice btw). Headed home around 3:00AM. No roadblocks, no bad drivers, and no hangover.:)
