$1,050. 2 biminis, all zippered, glass and vents where they should be. For an extra $750 he recovered all of the interior vinyl.

If the top looks as good in person as it does in the pic, you scored a great deal. Good for you!

Never realized how much a camper top can change the experience of having a boat.

Do you really like it? My boat came with a campertop, but it's in one of those blue pastic containers in my garage (and has been since I got the boat). I think in the Florida heat it would turn the boat into an oven, even at night. When do you use it, at night or during the day, or both?

Did you even read the post? He paid $1050. And that's more than $300 in materials.

I guess it depends on what you want to do with your rig. We sat at PIB in the rain and just enjoyed that we weren't scrambling around trying to cover things up. The front, sides, and back all zip into place so they're easy to put up or take down. Without them you just have 2 biminis.

We sleep in the cuddy and that arrangement needs some work. And yes, with the sides up it is like a greenhouse.

Lol... Exactly.... Just like the OP said... Guess they dont need the business, and I could research the costs of materials and prove you wrong and myself right, but it hardly seems worth the effort...

We wanted to expand our range of boating to include the Erie islands. I wanted to have the ability to stay anywhere I wanted, in most any kind of weather. I think most people who've been on Erie will agree that the lake can get whipped up big time in short order. Instead of making a stupid decision like I did last fall I now have the option of staying put. And, the marina is a 2 hour drive. I wanted to avoid being weathered out if I want to take a couple of days and do nothing.

You're right. It wouldn't be worth the effort. I'm an upholsterer and I can tell you that there is $300 just in eisenglass there.
