hello
I dont use anything to Hold the bearings other than OMC needle bearing assy lube. also known as vasoline.place one circlip in the piston. place the pin in the other boss. carefully insert all the needles or the needle and cage assy in the rod using needle bearing assy grease to hold everything in place. place the spacers on the rod. hold the assy steady and insert it in the piston. shove the wrist pin through it. look at the boss/up marks on the rod in relation to the piston. realize its wrong, remove it all. flip the rod over and repeat. :) :) now install the other circlip and your on to he next one.
good luck and keep posting
