Re: WWIII

This cracks me up. Proof positive that liberals think they are smarter and better than everyone else. Basically, "the Middle East is too backward for Democracy, it only works if your head is screwed on straight just like mine" . . .

I love txs's posts. I totally agree with heycods. This should be fun, it is for me ;)

Re: WWIII

Well, CJY, it is not polite to call someone a loser and that would probably generate a reprimand.

But, calling someone a looser is a different matter. That's more like a boomerang and requires no intervention. :D :D

If he is free enough to plan another attack, IS THAT NOT FREE ENOUGH?

Let's make him a messy red spot in the dirt, but until that happens, we are not looking hard enough. Too hear anybody say they are not worried about him, as W did a couple of years ago is just crazy. [/QB]
while I agree on the messy red spot CYJ I do have to point out that just about any inmate in any prison can do most of the things you listed as making obl free.
Inmates wake when they are ready
Inmates sleep when they are ready
Inmates appear on tv at will all they got to do is come up with a good story to real in the local tv statio news
Inmates negotiate whe they are ready (a good way to get on tv)
Inmates threaten who ever when ever
Inmates dont spend all there stay in shackles life in prison is like life in a small city
Inmates can run their street gangs from prison

Re: WWIII

badandy,

So then, OBL is no different than any other inmate, in your mind? Then what the heck is all the terrorism fuss about??? Why are we in Iraq if we are talking about the same dangers that inmates pose to us?

Fair enough JB. I just wanted to know where you stood. I will just have to remember to spell it your way, because in the end, all we really have to understand is the intent and not the spelling.

Re: WWIII

During the Saddam regime it was the Sunni that held power, not Islam.

I think the insurgency is more about political power than religion. The Sunni lost it and now they want it back. In a secular Democratic Republic they aren't populous enough to take it back. The only strategy that has any chance is terrorism, which will eventually fail simply because the majority will not tolerate it.

for all anyone knows poor ole OBl is kicking back on a beach someplace laughing.while its certainly nice to think he is in a spider hole someplace we just dont know. we do know that he is incredably wealthy and has a lot of family support in saudi arabia. yet we do nothing but kiss saud buttocks. i guess there is to much financail intertwining or something.

Re: WWIII

It has now turned into a clash of cultures.
Different than the cold war but on a similar level.
Nuclear banter, and division. It is inevitable. But it still
must be dealt with. The West must not bow to extremists at any cost.
Freedom is what they target, Conditioned from birth. There is no
other way then to deal with it now. It is the beginning of the end
for radical Islam. I believe the aggression of the Muslim world will
awaken the sleeping giant that Western culture is. And a rude awakening
is in the making for radical Islam.

FSH cause It gets your blood flowing. Admit it your addicted like the rest of us, tx can whizz you off with the best of em :D Ill have to admit this was his best far streched humor. ;)
As I said earlier NEXT. As in Nexpost TX. :)

Had a civics and economics teacher when I was a kid that taught us to always look at both sides of each issue, He would devide the class in half and give us a topic to debate, about half way through the class he would pick the loosing side and join them , nearly every time he would turn the thinking of the whole class around. I learned a lot from that guy. Maby we all ought to jump over on txs side of the Issue and see what happens. :D

Man, I finally agree with one of JB's political posts.

It is indeed all about political power, and little, if anything, to do with religion.

Religion may well be a tool that is used, but in the end it is all about political power.
