Lucky Jim & NoSleep, you are both Correct, that is exactly what I was talking about in my earlier post, that BUDDY THE SEEING EYE DOG, PAVED THE WAY FOR ALL FUTURE SEEING EYE DOGS. A seeing eye dog is exempt from public "No DOGS ALLOWED" laws, the dog is legally viewed as the Master's Eyes, and not a K-9.

SS While I worked at Walmart I was given the oppertunity to guide a blind couple around the store and help them shop. I truely enjoyed it. They were legaly blind but they could see about 6 inches away. I know that you mentioned that he has to sit very close to the television to be able to see it. This couple mentioned that they had found on the internet a pair of virtual glasses that they use to watch television and dvd's and also surf the internet. I am truly one to support the promotion of the outdoors but this will open up an entirely new world to this young kid being able to enjoy the shows with his friends and parents. Just my 2 Cents
