Have a digital multi tach on a 1999 225. Tach reads 0 most of the time but works out the blue sometimes. Noticed while trimming the motor up or down the rpms are displayed but go back to 0 after trim is released. The problem started after hitting wave hard in rough water. Any ideas? This is the 2nd tach in 4 years. Is there a different model or style I can use?
