YAM 30 hp - 3 cyl - Oil on 2 plugs

Hubby having a fit..lol.. so I am trying to help. No idea of year etc..only that 2 out of 3 plugs have oil on them, he just changed all 3 of them..has trouble plaining, runs with choke on full or she stalls. Best I can do Gents..until he settles down. Just sign me "Gotta help a good man".

sounds like dirt in the carbs. time to remove and clean them. quite an involved process but one even a layman can accomplish with tools and a service manual.

some points to bring up to make yourself look good.<br /><br />throttle plate synchronisation is important and care must be taken to get it right.<br /><br />throttle cam pickup timing is also important and will contribute to acceleration lag among other things if it isnt close.

Ben, don't give the lady too much info. I'll bet her better half feels bad enough as it is.
