Yam 9.9 carb question

How do I remove the carb from a 2008 T9.9GEX (4-stroke) for cleaning/servicing?

I don't know how you remove the carb, but just being a year old, I don't think it would need cleaning at this point unless you ran some really old gas through it. Other wise add SeaFoam or the likes to your gas.
Are you having problems?

Thanks for the response...yes, she runs rough and stalls at idle; my mechanic suggested I remove the carb because, he says, 95% of these problems are due to carb, which, he says, is because they don't tolerate the ethanol blend. Since I can't get the motor off the boat (it's in a well and requires going under the boat to remove the prop), he suggested just bringing in the carb. I tried all the obvious fixes like plugs, new fuel filter, new gas.
