How can I check if the overheat alarm is working on my engine? When I turn on the key switch I am not getting the 3 or 4 beeps that you get once you turn the engine on? thanks.

the reason you dont get the beeps is that engine does not self test at key on power.
two ways to test it.
1 is key on engine off, dissconect the pink lead at either temp switch and ground the engine side, the other is to pull the stop lanyard and crank the engine.
if the horn works it should sound.
