hey guys ,, any help will be greatly appreciated. I have a 115eltg yamaha , think it is a 1988 model . It had been sitting a couple of years when I got it , carbs had just been rebuilt and then the guy got a saltwater rig and let this boat set . We had some dry lakes around here . I pulled carbs and cleaned them . Siphoned as much gas as I could out of the boat . Replace gas about six gallons and used a can of sea foam , (btw oil injection is still on motor).
Finally got a chance to take it out to the lake , it bogged real bad on take off . Not sure if it matters but its on a Stratos 264 Bass Boat , should be plenty of motor for this boat . Any was like I was saying it bogs , I can hit the choke button as I plane out and it will plane an run fine at higher speed. I am sure I have a blockage in a jet somewhere, or could the air adjustment screws cause this , not sure if they are set right in the first place , any help . Sorry for the long post , Thanks Mike

Id bet carbs Mike. The yammies are tempermental when it comes to dirt. You may think you cleand em good .But unless you totally disassemble and soak in carm cleaner, then blow with compressed air you may not get them clean.Whenever you get positive result by choking, you got a carb prob.If squeezing ball makes it better, likely the fuel pump.
