Yamaha 130 CDI problem?

I have a 1989 Yamaha 130 that idles great and will run in gear about 2k rpms, but if I try to throttle up any more it bogs down. I have cleaned the carbs multiple times with no improvement. The multimeter readings on the stator leads are within spec, but the resistance readings I get on the CDI are not even close of the readings from the brown wire to the black and white coil leads. The other reistance tests I did on the CDI wires looked right in line with the sepcs in my workshop manual.

Should I trust that these readings are telling me I have a bad CDI? They cost about $400 so I don't want to buy one unless I really need it.

Do a test for fire. If all 4 cylinders are firing, then you need to find and repair the fuel restriction.

I am with Ray
over the years I have found resistance readings are teats on a boar hog.
use a DVA or peak reading meter and look at stator output voltage, pulser coil output voltage and CDI output voltage. those readings are the actual working readings and they are what counts.
a test wheel helps but it can be done on the lake, I do it all the time.
