I went on a long run of 25 miles or so and shut her down to fish a couple of hours. When I tried to start it with the usual turn of the key quick start, it didn't happen. I had to wind on it a while and give it about half throttle before it would finally fire off. it acts like it's under fueled but once it starts it seems to run pretty strong. does it seem to be a low pressure pump problem? BTW the primer bulb wont stay firm. Thanks for any help.

Primer bulbs do not stay firm after an engine starts because fuel is being sucked through it.

what is the year of the engine? what is the service history? were things like the o2 sensor and fuel pump diaphragms included in the last service? has the vst been serviced recently?<br />what is the condition of the fuel line and connections?
