hello<br /> ok<br /> today with the engine tank full. disconect the wire harness to it. on the switch side of the harness test continuity between the white and black switch wire should have continuity. then cut the drain tube wire tie and drain off the oil till the tank is almost empty. now check for continuity between the brown and black and red and black switch wires. should have continuity. <br /> now on the engine side. test for continuity from the black wire of the harness to engine ground. should have continuity.<br /> unplug the four wire harness from the remote tank to the engine test the engine side black wire to engine ground. should have continuity. test the wire from the connector to the remote tank one at a time. should have continuity.<br /> by continuity I mean less than 2 ohms. good luck and keep posting

Hello rodbolt.<br /><br />Today we were working on the oil problem and we did not find anything, a yamaha mecanic checked the engine and coul not find the problem. I think that I will disconnect the oil system and mix the oil with gas. What I need to do to disconnect the oil system on both engines and what is the mixture for those engines. <br />My boat has a generator so I will have to put an additional tank for the generator.<br /><br />Thanks again

hello<br /> dude ya need to find a competent tech. its a very simple system. it uses reed type magnetic switches to turn various functions on and off. I dont know how to properly disable the system. I always fix them I do get a lot that others have trouble with.<br /> anyway good luck and engoy the day
