Welcome to iboats.<br /><br />Three possibilities. Could be a bad remote control, possible but not likely. Could be a broken core wire in the cable, that's possible. Most likely one end or other of the throttle cable isn't connected. Pull the motor hood off and find where the throttle cable attaches. If it's connected, disconnect it and try pulling on the end. If the cable core wire is broken, it'll pull all the way out.<br /><br />Come to think of it, there is another fair possibility that a link rod has come off that would open the throttle butterflies. With the motor hood off, you'd be able to see it.
