Hi there, I have been having trouble with my 55hp yammy.I cant get it to tick over properly. I thought it was the fuel pump so I changed the diaghrams but no luck. I changed the fuel tank and line with no difference. When I disconnect the fuel line from the carbs and pump the bulb, I get a good flow of fuel but when I turn the engine over it just spurts a while and then no flow. <br />Any help greatly appreciated.

Re: Yamaha 55 fuel flow problem

I suspect the bottom cylinder is not firing as the engine sounds a bit rough and when I took the plug out it was soaking wet. Dont know if this helps figure out whats wrong

A plug that is soaking wet on a rough running engine says you are lacking spark on that cylinder. Check for spark.
