60ffto,6H2 L 6H304 Y-1 this is all the numbers on the engine, my engine runs perfect at full throttle when cold, but after only about 250yds it dies down and if you try'an open the throttle it sounds like its being strangled and stinks in fuel, if i tilt the engine up it will rev out but no sooner i drop it again it dies again but keeps running just smells very rich, if i stop and allow the engine to go cold its perfect again, the carbs have been stripped and clean by a marine engineer its like the choke is staying on, please help

Re: Yamaha 60 autolube

sounds like its either flooding, usually due to defective needle/seat/float or the fuel pump diaphram has a hole in it and will pump fuel directly into the crankcase.
