yamaha 9.9 year

Just bought a yamaha 9.9. I need to find out what year it is. I checked the other posts and sites but I haven't had much luck. Does anyone have a place I can check? The silver tag says:<br />9.9D 682 CS 042063. Thanks.

Should be a 1984 model, first year they were introduced in the states. I currently own the same one with different s/n.<br /><br />Rob
