Yamaha F115 tilt problem

I have a 2006 Yamaha f115. Since the engine was new I have had trouble with tilt-noise, sounds like air in the fluid. Last autumn the tilt stopped working totally (no effect on the trim-pins, though the tilt-engine worked fine). I had it in for service, and they changed the square engine-part on the left side of the the trim-cylinders. Now it works again, but the air-noise is worse than ever. I have tried to bleed out the air by manually rise and lower the engine. When I do so I can hear the air "surkle", but it wont disappear. I'm afraid that the trim will stop working again after some hours of use. How do I get rid of the air - the dump system should be self-bleeding, but this seems to failure. (Excuse my English).

the showa trim units are noisy, its just a fact of life. sometimes we can add a few ounces of 30 wt motor oil and calm them down some. otherwise they just squeal, squeak and make noise.

OK. But is it possible that too much air in the system could make the trim/tilt stop working properly?
