Yamaha Multifunction Display Backlighting

I have a 115TLRS in a 20' Cobia cc with the speedo and tach MFD's. The tach is working fine, but I'm getting neither speed info or backlighting on the speedo. The fuel gauge and triplog functions are OK. I suspect a pinched or cut pitot hose on the speed display, but I have no clue on how to repair the backlighting. Anyone out there who can help?? Thanks,

Check to see if it works when the running lights are turned on. The back lighting that is.

sounds like the water pressure hose has a clog, they are all known to clog
shoot some compressed air up the hole and the motor while u take off the hose on the gauge
