Yamaha Pro 50LG

HI,
Need help with a Yamaha Pro 50 LG. It's on an 18 ft pontoon. I just bought it and it ran fine the first time out. I don't know what year it is. The no. is:
6H5 L 503673. Any help on year would be great. While we had it out the first time it was running at 25 MPH with no problem and then all of a sudden it went to running at only 10MPH and that's all it will do now. We think we may have pinched the fuel line. The Primer bulb is not staying hard. Any ideas on where to start? This is our first boat and outboard. Thanks in advance for any help.

The G in the model number says it is an 1988 model. You do appear to have a fuel restriction. Start at the fuel tank and go towards the engine checking for leaks or pinched line.

Thanks for the reply, we have changed the fuel line and bulb and we think the fuel filter is leaking, we are going to replace that next. Will that do it or will we have gotten a vaccuum or air in the carb? If so, how do we fix that?

A fuel restriction will not damage the carbs, but it mat damge the engine if not corrected.

Are you using an external tanK? Is the vent open? Try using a genuine Yamaha fuel hose assy.

does anyone know where the fuses are in this motor because i think i blew a fuse and i have searched for 3 days and cant find it, Please help
