yamaha suddenly stops at higher speeds

yamaha 150 hr ss starts and runs great but sudnely stops after about 20 minutes of running. We then restart no problem and it will do it again after about ten minutes. Runs great at lower speeds. When i say it suddenly stops its as if someone pulled out the key, no sputtering just stops. please help thanks jesse

Not much info to go on, but start by checking all connections and grounds.

What year,fuel injected?
