I have a 2003 90 2 stroke yamaha. the tilt motor is showing alot of exterior rust. i have tried to clean and repaint. but rust returns. being in such a tight spot i have considered removing the tilt motor, if possible, and grinding and cleaning with rust solvent. to repaint. i would hate to have to buy a new motor due to lack of maintanance. please advise. should i pull tilt motor to clean and is this going to be hard to remove?thanks
