Yamaha Tilt Question

I recently used my 1997 Yamaha C90 over the weekend. When I tilted the engine all the way up to put boat in the water and then tried to tilt engine back down I just heard the trim/tilt engine running but it would not go down. I tried again for about 45 seconds and no tilt down. I noticed that I had a little more to go to the 100% full tilt up postion so I tilted the rest of the way up. Then I again tried the tilt down and it went down just right and acted normal the rest of the day. <br />What was that all about?

check your fluid level and fluid condition.<br />also check your ram selas and rams for signs of deterioration? look at it very closely ram corrosion is hard to spot.

hello check with your dealer about tech bullitens relating to the main valveing. some had issues
