I have a 2001 TXRA 150 that I bought new on a 2002 Blazerbay 2107. Had hit a semerged somthing and had to get boat repairs done. The lower unit took a good lick and also lost the engin cover. <br />I did run the motor about a hour after the hit and had no problems at that time. Went out to start the motor that has sat idiol for about 8 weeks and the overtemp alarm came on when the key was set to the on position. I had not even turned the engin over and it was buzzen. I did start the engine and it ran a bit rough. I did see two themostats on the head. Is there any more stats and what would be a good resistance reading with a DVM is there a way to isolate the problem to one or should I just replace both of them. Is there anything else that would cause the alarm.
